Tree monitoring and inventory management
Data-driven decision-making
Effective decision-making requires access to reliable and relevant data to measure progress against deployment objectives, assess the condition of tree assets, and take corrective actions where required.
Our integrated suite of tree management solutions provides
real-time data for documenting your progress in meeting deployment objectives, detecting tree health and stress issues early on, and optimizing the allocation of resources for tree maintenance and care.
We work with our partners to offer an integrated suite of technical solutions. The tree management system provides a comprehensive overview of tree and vegetation assets. Remote monitoring solutions automatically collect data on tree assets and environmental
conditions that are fed into the tree management system.
Tree mapping and health monitoring
Our solution uses multi-spectral imagery from commercial satellites to automatically identify and map individual trees, including location, specie, growth maturity and health status.
- Automated tree specie detection using AI-based image recognition techniques
- Individual tree health assessment based on crown size, shape and color changes
- Risk assessment for disease, insect infestations or environmental stress
- Proprietary analysis of date palms to identify cultivar type and estimate crop yield
Our technology partner stores over 10 years of historical data to enable historic tree cover comparisons.
Tree management system
A detailed and accurate inventory of trees, shrubs and groundcover serves as a centralized collaboration tool for managing project teams. This is especially important in the early years of a project where tree mortality and growth rates are closely monitored. With our technical partners, we provide a customized solution with comprehensive reporting and flexible search options. Work orders can be scheduled through the system, and data access is provided through mobile devices.

Shrubs and Ground Cover
- Group Asset ID number (vegetation to be assigned in groups based on sites)
- Location / GIS coordinates
- Species, genus, family
- Year planted
- Health rating
- Action required for O&M (and a record of past actions)

Remote monitoring of environmental conditions
Remote monitoring of environmental conditions is designed to achieve several objectives:
- Track soil moisture levels to automate the irrigation schedule
- Report on microclimatic conditions
- Track air pollution
We work with our technical partners to design and install a network of remove sensors to
collect field data. The soil and air measurements are integrated with the tree management
system for speedy analysis and response.
